About me.

My name is Björn Hartmann

I am 45 years old and specialized in process engineering, customer centricity and leadership. I am an aviation professional with more than 24 years of industry experience in senior management roles at airlines, airports and ground handling companies.

 

By having delivered complex projects leading cross-functional and international teams around the globe I have gained loads of valuable impressions, views beyond the obvious and best practices from wonderful people all over the world.

 

Having worked for some of the leading aviation companies such as Star Alliance, or Munich Airport I have become an industry expert in airport operations and baggage automation.

 

I graduated from M|O|T University Klagenfurt with an MBA in Integrated Management and will never stop learning.

From defining and optimizing operational processes to the digitalization of the passenger journey - with my experience and best practices from delivering complex projects all around the globe, I will be a reliable partner at your side, tackling the challenges of our industry and help to make your business grow.

Through numerous projects carried out worldwide, among others in the areas of lean management and seamless travel experience; through my experience in the digitalization of processes and the implementation of automated infrastructure; and through my work with international teams and customers, I have been able to steadily expand my know-how and successfully bring in best practices for the continuous optimization of value creation.

I am convinced that the digitization of processes and communication, as well as the automation of the infrastructure are among the most important success factors in a volatile market environment.

Equally passionate, I am striving for continuous positive change through empowerment and interaction, in order to leverage potentials and thus contribute to a continuous improvement in quality and an increase in productivity.
